Tucked between Sonoma Mountain to the west and the Mayacamas Mountains to the east, and bisected by the Sonoma and Calabasas creeks, Glen Ellen epitomizes laid-back wine country living. It offers a variety of homeownership options and styles, ranging from in-town luxury condos and single-family homes to rustic country bungalows to rambling hillside vineyard estates.

Glen Ellen is also famous as the last home of “Call of the Wild” author, Jack London, who lived there from 1905 until he died in 1916. London’s “Beauty Ranch” is now the 39-acre Jack London State Historic Park, also home to Transcendence Theatre’s “Broadway Under the Stars” performances in the Park’s old winery ruins. Glen Ellen is truly a nature lover’s paradise with its rich topography, Bouverie Preserve, Quarry Hill Botanical Garden, hiking trails, regional parks, and more.
